April 16, 2023 - April 22, 2023

Location:  Saint Barths (Caribbean)

Created in 2010 by two old friends, François Tolède, organizing director, and Luc Poupon, race director, the first year of the regatta comprised 27 boats and had an exceptional ambassador, the legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

2019 has marked the strengthening of our relationship with Richard Mille, who has become the title partner of the event, which will now be known as Les Voiles de St. Barth Richard Mille. As the regatta organizers, we are very proud of the trust that Richard Mille has placed in us, and over time has become more than just a sponsor.

Not only do we share the same set of values but also our respective universes are closely aligned. As we see it, highly competitive sailing and the art of luxury horology both embrace extreme performance, the latest technology, and strong artistic dimensions, as well as respect for traditions and the discipline required. These values will be reinforced again next year, as the edition of Les Voiles de St. Barth Richard Mille will be totally eco-responsible. The environment is a vital force that we have taken into consideration for a long time, and that we should all respect.

Race type: Race week

Word from the President:

Its growing momentum as a major event in St Barths, and its success in attracting satisfied participants are of special interest to the Collectivite of ST. Barthelemy. The island of St. Barthelemy is thoughtfully contending with its economic, environmental and cultural development, a fragile formula for such a small and internationally recognized island. The Collectivite recognizes that the development of LVDSB is aligned with the very vision that Saint Barths has for itself as it grows economically, through the marine industry, while maintaining steadfastly the traditions, integrity, humanity, and integral charm inherent in St. Barth.

The organizing Committee of LVDSB, through its exemplary work and high standards as well as the enthusiasm, effort and sportsmanship of the gracious yacht participants have caught the attention of the international yachting and tourist media who concur in the applause of this fledgling event.

Despite the impressive precedent of the successful first 4 editions, I am certain that the LVDSB team has the competence, motivation and organizational discipline to push the bar even higher in 2012.It is with pleasure that we recognize that this nautical event is in keeping with the most important values of life here in St. Barths; the encouragement of a competitive, intrepid spirit all while maintaining a harmony with the local elements.

The Collectivite reaffirms its support of LVDSB into the future as well as its desire to accommodate and welcome the various participants and spectators who come to visit the island at this time.

It is with particular pleasure that we welome the sailors who come from so many distant waters.

I hope that the 2016 of LVDSB is yet another success and a spectacular week of spectacle and conviviality for the local population and for visitors.

Président de la Collectivité
